This information note (pursuant to Article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679, hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”) is made exclusively for the EPO srl website and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user through links. The contents and services provided by EPO srl through this website are aimed exclusively at persons over the age of 18. Therefore minors must not send their data or e-mail. In the event that EPO srl verifies that a minor has sent data, it will immediately delete them.

Navigation data: the informatic systems on which the operation of the websiteis based acquire some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. Such data are not collected to be associated with identifiable website users but, by their very nature, they could, by processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the website, the addresses in URI(Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server(success, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and to the user’s computer environment. These data may be used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the website.

Information on the use of Cookie: cookie are data files that websites send to internet access devices (browsers) where they are stored and retransmitted to the same websites at the next user visit. Cookie can be: technical (they ensure the usability of the websites, they allow to select the parameters in the navigation and to log in); profiling (used to send promotional messages based on the preferences shown by users during the web navigation); third-party (not installed by websites visited by users but, through these, from third-party websites). Furthermore, cookie may vanish when the browser is closed (session cookie) or persist in users’ devices for some time (persistent cookie).

This website uses session cookie to allow users to establish a connection session and persistent technical cookie that allow authentication in the back end of the website by the persons authorized by EPO srl.

1) https://datatables.net/cookie that are used to allow users to order and search for Epo srl products and whose privacy policy can be consulted at https://datatables.net/privacy#Cookies;

2) Google Analytics cookie that provide aggregated reports on various parameters, such as the frequency and the way in which users visit the web pages of the website (part of the IP addresses of the users are masked).

Users:

Users can always disable technical cookie but, in this case, they may have difficulty or be unable to visit the various sections of the website and access its’ back-end. If users disable cookie from https://datatables.net/they become unable to order and search for Epo srl products, whereas if they disable cookie from Google Analytics they only prevent Epo srl from making the aforementioned statistics. Users can exercise the rights listed below.

If users cancel the banner or select a website element outside the banner, they express their consent to the cookie listed above.

Information on Data processing (Article 13 of the GDPR) through the “CONTACT EPO” Data Collection Form

Purposes of data processing: responding to requests submitted by users and/or providing technical information on products. Legal basis of data processing: acquisition of consent of users who give it by clicking the “Send” button located under the Form. Data Recipients: companies that manage the company computer system (any appointments of data processor pursuant to article 28 of the GDPR are filed at the company headquarters). Such data are not transferred outside the European Union. Data retention: data are stored for n. 1 year after the last message sent or received. Communication of data and refusal to provide them: data communication is at user’s option but it’s a necessary requirement to send the requests. Therefore, refusal in providing them implies the impossibility of sending such requests. Only people over the age of 18 can send their data. Data sent by minors will be immediately deleted by EPO srl.

Exercisable rights. All persons who provide their data to EPO srl may exercise the following rights: access to their data, rectification of inaccurate data, integration of incomplete data and erasure, restriction of processing, request of data portability, revoke of the given consent, propose a complaint to a supervisory authority and any other administrative or judicial appeal.

Data provided voluntarily by users. The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on this website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s email address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message (execution of pre-contractual measures). Please include in the missives only the strictly needed data for the requests. The data are stored for n. 1 year after the last message sent or received. They may be processed by the company that manages the website contents and are not transferred outside the European Union.
