EPO's location is still the same, but the original building has been completely changed: the production department, completely renovated, has been flanked by a new Quality Control laboratory and modern offices.

In the meantime, to complete the picture of an expanding company, a new production unit was created just outside Milan and equipped with the very latest technology.

Recently a new pharmaceutical production facility has been developed in the same location. Thus the Company now avails itself of two production facilities completely separated one from the other.

EPO's products first appeared in 1933 on the market for medicinal and aromatic plant extracts.

Since then we have continued in the forefront of a sector in constant evolution and expansion. From the moment that phytotherapy and natural foods became a way of life for many people, EPO have guaranteed that their products set a high quality standard with the maximum safety in their use.
This is all due to a highly specialized, professional staff continuing research in the analytical field allied to the most modern extraction technology .

All the extractive processes (both dynamic and static), concentration and drying (by atomization or by traditional methods) used by EPO are set up and optimized in such a way as to fully respect the integrity of the phytocomplex.

EPO's entire production cycle is validated and characterized by the use of the most modern technology available, to ensure a minimum impact on the environment.

TOTAL CONTROL, FROM SELECTION OF RAW MATERIAL TO THE FINISHED PRODUCT

The plants selected by EPO come from cultivations in complete harmony with nature and must pass an accurate examination in our Quality Control laboratory to check their botanical identification, their quality and their absence of contamination.

The extracts also undergo careful qualitative-quantitative analysis and research of chemical and/or microbiological contamination.

In accordance with the GMP, the Quality Assurance staff controls the scrupulous application of the company's Procedures and Quality system, in every phase of the product's life and its full accordance with the quality requirements previously established, also evaluating the safeness of its use.
